
The China Bridge Centre for Middle Path Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong was founded in 1994 by Sifu Peter Newton. To date, along with a nucleus of dedicated fellow teachers, Peter is spreading the message of the Middle Path to the public and various institutions worldwide.
The aim of China Bridge methodology is to unlock human potential utilizing the philosophical and physiological mind and body engineering disciplines employed by revered ancient and modern Chinese Masters.
For those with more serious health issues, including special needs, a more focused Middle Path therapy is offered called 'Medical Tai Chi and Qigong' which targets 'Core Stability and Movements', 'Posture Centring', 'Joint to Joint Coordination', 'Breathing Principles' and 'Mind Centring'.

The Centre teaches 37 and 108 posture Classical Yang family Tai Chi Chuan forms.

The Qigong taught by the Centre has been carefully selected to cover the whole body. This includes the creation of the 'Middle Path Posture' where, in stillnesss and motion, true health resides.
